W:LP Information

Worship: Leading & Preaching is an exciting opportunity to reshape Local Preacher and Worship Leader (LPWL) training, in the light of changes to our culture, new ways of being a church, new media technologies, new educational developments, and feedback from previous trainees. There is a stronger focus on the skills required for preaching and leading worship, but without any dumbing down of theological and Biblical study - although non-accredited, the course still roughly equates to studying at A-level standard.

The Aim

Our aim is to produce a training Pathway that will equip worship leaders and local preachers to proclaim the love of God in Christ Jesus with confidence inspired by the Holy Spirit. If you have any questions please email localpreachers@methodistchurch.org.uk and we will attempt to answer them and if appropriate we will add them to this list of FAQs.
