Personal Responsibility Commitment

Let's all commit to learning something new about God’s richly diverse human race!

Ignorance often leads to prejudice and discrimination (however unintended) and Jesus told us to ‘love our neighbours as we love ourselves’ (Mark 12:31).

The Personal Responsibility Commitment is a tool which can help us to learn more.
The more we listen carefully, the more we can love our neighbours.
This helps us fulfil our calling to ‘learning and caring’.
We hope that employees, ministers and preachers, as well as many other roles, will commit to a new piece of learning each year as part of your ongoing development.

The responsibility for listening to, and learning from, other people is our own.
What are your gaps in understanding when it comes to people different from yourself?
