We are very sad to hear of the death of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks and we extend our sympathy to the Jewish community, his family and friends. A man of faith and a highly respected theologian and philosopher, he reached out to wider society and was well known to many through his writing and broadcasting. Among many things, he will be remembered for his commitment to developing understanding between different faiths. May his memory be a blessing.
