Statement from Edgehill College regarding the death of a pupil on Dartmoor

"The Governors, staff and pupils of Edgehill College expresstheir great sorrow at the tragic death of Charlotte Shaw followingan incident on Dartmoor yesterday and our hearts go out to herfamily. We are all shocked by the tragedy and are working tosupport all the pupils and staff in coming to terms with whathappened. Charlotte was a delightful member of our schoolcommunity. She loved to be involved in all the activities theschool runs and shared her love of sport by helping to coachyounger pupils. We will all miss her enormously."
