Getting there by public transport: The church is located on the old town walls, adjacent to the Quarry public park. The church is about 20 minutes walk from the Shrewsbury rail station.
Getting there by car: Visitors are welcome to park in St Chad’s car park on a first-come, first served basis, for which there is a commercial charge. Pay & Display bays are available in the road outside the church. Blue Badge holders are able to park there without charge, subject to the terms of their permit.
Accessibility: The main body of the church and the churchyard are accessible to wheelchairs. There is a permanent gentle ramp from the church car park into the church. There is an accessible toilet on your left as you enter the church outer vestibule.
The organ loft and balcony of the church are not accessible to wheelchairs.
