The right to request a flexible working pattern applies to all employees, where the employee:
has started their employment and arrived for start date
has not already made 2 requests within the last 12 months
does not have another "live" request
More guidance and information regarding flexible working legislation and best practice can be found on ACAS.
The ACAS Code of Practice will be taken into consideration by Tribunals when appropriate therefore it is important that employers follow the guideline in the Code.
