Train as a coach

If you've benefited from coaching and you'd love to pay it forward, consider training as a coach. Coaches listen well, ask great questions, and help the coachee figure out what positive action they want to take next. It's not about having the right answers, but about helping someone else figure out the answers for themselves.

A number of opportunities for coach training happen throughout the year. 

Online training with the Connexional Team

Our next coach training course is taking place online on Tuesday afternoons, 1.30-4.30pm from 5th November to 10th December 2024. There will also be an evening online course on Thursdays, 7-9.30pm from 5th June to 10th July 2025. If you are interested in taking part, contact us to discuss your interest in coaching.

Residential training at Cliff College

There is a residential option for coach training, offered over five days at Cliff College in March 2025. Contact the Evangelism and Growth Team for details of how to apply to have the cost of this residential training funded by The Methodist Church.
