Centro Ecumene - a place of reconciliation and inclusion

Centro Ecumene, situated near Lake Albano just outside Rome, is a Methodist retreat centre that was formed shortly after the end of the second World War. As well as welcoming local church groups and visiting groups from overseas, Centro Ecumene has hosted various European Methodist conferences, seminars and congresses. At the very heart of its mission are the two themes of reconciliation and inclusion, and the Centro regularly subsidizes events and camps for marginalized and disadvantaged persons.

Through the World Mission Fund, MCB has been able to help with the purchase of a special vehicle to transport disabled visitors from the local train station to the Centro, enabling them to take part - but more importantly, be a part - of life at Centro.
