Challenging times and changing work, from Mission Partners in Germany

Barry and Gillian's work in INSPIRE Fresh Expression has changed. “We have had to cancel all events at INSPIRE but are now part of the Facebook neighbourhood help group offering help and watching out for each other.” One of the offers that Barry made to the group was for counselling and pastoral care - with people being anxious, relationships under strain etc.” Prayers welcome.

Barry's work with the German UMC Tent Mission and board of evangelism is also challenging at the moment. Most of the mission outreaches and bookings have had to be cancelled. We are now looking at ways of serving our partners online. Whereas Barry would normally visit churches to conduct seminars and workshops, he is working on carrying out these trainings online. The team is also seeking upload devotional, encouraging and inspiring content to the evangelism website on a daily basis, starting from Monday 23rd March -  read more here  

General info from Germany UMC - all church service have been halted until further notice. Annual conferences and other national church events have also been cancelled.
