Eli Atif: New Global Church 3 gen youth rep

3Generate has recently appointed a new Global Church Youth Rep, Eli Atif, who will work with our current  rep, Liddy Buswell, to encourage more youth participation in MCB’s global relationships.  We thank Meg Haslam as she steps down for all her contributions in the post. Liddy and Eli will be linking with Global Relationships, making connections with young people around the world, and finding ways to involve children and young people in Britain with what they are learning and doing.

Eli introduces himself below: 

Hello! My name is Eli Atif, I am the new Global Church 3 Gen Youth Rep for this year.

I am from Swansea where I currently study Motorsports Engineering at University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s. I love travelling, learning about different ways our faith can be practiced and I always find it interesting to experience how different cultures from around the world worship in their church. It is amazing that we all share the same faith and worship the same God but worship in our own unique ways depending on where you go in the world.

I recently travelled to Cliff College in Chesterfield where I got to learn a bit more and experience what being a Youth Rep is all about. After all, young people are our future, and I am greatly honoured to be a platform for their voice to be heard, not just in the UK but globally. For these reasons, I am very excited to begin my journey as a Global Youth Rep, hoping to meet amazing people, gain valuable experience, and above all make sure that whatever I do is to praise God and share his blessed word.
