Miss Stone Center

The Miss Stone Center is a social outreach ministry of the United Methodist Church, our partner church in Macedonia. The Center serves mainly the elderly, providing them with basic health care, practical support and daily meals. Due to the high levels of unemployment in Macedonia, many have moved to other countries in Europe to find employment. This has often left the elderly, who remain home in Macedonia, very isolated and vulnerable.

The social care that the state provides is very basic. The vital work that the Miss Stone Center is engaged in, is vital to these senior citizens.

The Methodist Church in Britain has been able to support the Miss Stone Center financially in recent years. The Center has received grant aid from MCB's World Mission Fund. Thanks to donations and offerings from Methodists all over Britain and Ireland (Easter Offerings, etc.), the WMF is able to support our partners in Macedonia and in other parts of the world.
