Out and About at Amplify Youth Event
Stella and Vicky enjoyed travelling to Whitemoor Lakes Activity Centre in Staffordshire to share in the youth event, Amplify.
Started by a former Global Mission Fellow, each year the event brings the Birmingham and Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury Districts together for a weekend of fun outdoor activities and exploring different ways to encounter God.
With a global theme this year, video calls were facilitated with Rev. David Hardman who joined from Jerusalem. After learning more about what life is like for communities in Israel/Palestine, the young people (and their leaders) responded by creating prayers for the region on their own olive leaves which were then added to the prayer tree.
