Pacific Conference of Churches Statement on the current situation in Kanaky/New Caledonia

There has recently been unrest in the nation of Kanaky/New Caledonia a colony of France. This has resulted in the deaths of seven persons, many injuries and properties destroyed.

Our partner the Pacific Conference of Churches has issued a statement of solidarity with the people of Kanaky on their campaign for self determination.
