Prayer and Action Request from CLAAS, our partner in Pakistan

Dear Friends,

Greetings from CLAAS,

As the world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ there are some who due to their circumstances would not be celebrating this joyous occasion. Among them is Zafer Bhatti and Sawan Masih alleged victims of Blasphemy who are in solitary confinement.

CLAAS is pursuing their cases and with your support we were able to assist their families financially.  CLAAS staff will be visiting them in prison. Similarly we would encourage you to ask your respective organization members and church members to send Christmas cards and messages to these prisoners of conscience. You can send these cards and messages directly to the prison facilities they are confined in or if you were unable to send it directly then you can send to CLAAS and we will forward it. This gesture will boost their morale and they will get encouragement during their time of sufferings. Because it is said “Life isn’t about getting and having, it’s about giving and being.” Here we are going to send you their addresses with their names:

Sawan Masih, Central Jail Faisalabad

Amoon Masih and Qasir Masih, District Jail Jhelum

Zafer Bhatti, Adyla Jail Rawalpindi

CLAAS Office Address:  160- Hamza Town, opposite Youhanabad Ferozepur Road Lahore Pakistan.

With Kind Regards,

M.A. Joseph MBE

National Director CLAAS.
