Please pray with us for Haiti:

Dear Lord, we mourn the loss of the President of Haiti alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters.

We pray especially for his wife and family and ask that your Holy Spirit will comfort them and reassure them of your love and hope. We pray that Martine Moïse would make a full and speedy recovery from her injuries.

We pray that your justice and will be done as the perpetrators are caught.

We ask that you comfort a nation that is not only grieving the loss of its president, but also coming to terms with yet another tragedy in a long line of tragic events in recent Haitian history.

We ask that your Holy Spirit would strengthen the interim president and the current government, giving them wisdom to lead the nation during this turbulent time and this time of mourning.

We ask that you would fill the hearts of all Haitians with hope for a good future, peace that surpasses all understanding and assurance in God’s good plans for the people of Haiti.

We pray that you would take the nation of Haiti from glory to glory and strength to strength, so that every Haitian can have the opportunity to live the abundant life that you promised us in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
