Radiate Webinar: stories, mission partners, events and resources

The theme ‘RADIATE’ is based on “aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord” (from Romans 12:11, REB). When we glow with the Spirit, we will radiate God’s love to all.

Radiate Webinars are a time of storytelling where we hear from Mission Partners and learn about the most recent work of the World Mission Fund.  We also get to share the events and resources to help advocate for the global Methodist community in your own local church context.

Mission Partners

On Wednesday 21 September, 2022 we heard from Mission Partners - Fiona Kendal in Italy and Sylvester and Rachel Deigh in Sierra Leone.  You can watch their short films prepared for the webinar here:

Fiona Kendal works with Mediterranean Hope an organisation working to support refugees and migrants arriving in Italy. 

Sylvester and Rachel Deigh work with the Methodist Church in Sierra Leone to support the strategic work and theological education in the church.

Samaritan Journey 

Sheila Norris also shared on the work of Methodist Church, Sri Lanka in supporting people through the current economic crisis with grassroots action.  You can learn more about this work here and a a report on the work here
