SHALOM is the social development arm of the Church in Bangladesh, they received £20,000 from the World Mission Fund to support their COVID-19 work and support for the aftermath of Cyclone Amphan. Read more here and about Cyclone Amphan here 

We received the below update: 

Greetings from SHALOM - Bangladesh!

This Sunday we have received separate government approval and NGOAB clearance to use your fund for COVID-19 activities and till now we are waiting for the approval and clearance of your cyclone amphan fund. 

 With your fund, we will buy some PPE and distribute 1300 food packages among 1300 families (Rajshahi -500, Mymensingh -400, Netrokona -400), and the food items will be:
