UMC calls for release of missionaries in Philippines

United Methodists Call for Immediate Release of Missionaries Being Held by Republic of the Philippines
One Global Mission Fellow, Tawanda Chandiwana, has been detained, while two others (Miracle Osman, a GMF and Adam Shaw, a missionary who was previously a part of the GMF program) have not received clearance to leave the country.
The UMC are calling for the government of the Philippines to #LetThemLeave. They are gathering signatures on a formal petition, compelling the government to release Tawanda from detention, and provide him, Adam and Miracle with clearance to leave the country.
