Learning opportunities for those discerning their vocation within the Methodist Church.
Encounter
The Encounter programme is for adults wishing to understand more fully their calling to follow Jesus and to live as Christ’s disciples in the world.
The programme will help you to identify your gifts, and explore the various possibilities of ministry and service.
The core programme revolves around ten monthly online evening meetings
"Encounter helped shape my journey of calling, it taught me to look within - for the unexpected - and find my path."
The Encounter sessions provide opportunity to journey with others as you explore and deepen your understanding of God, and reflect on how God may be calling you at this stage in your continuing discipleship. Sessions will involve prayer, discussion, guest speakers, and time for reflection. Each session is based around a theme connected with discipleship and vocation.
