An online one-day course for new lay employees to meet, explore their role, understand Methodism and get to grips with key employment practices and much more!
This training is designed for any new or existing line managers. It offers a holistic approach and an exploration of good practice. It comprises two parts:
Part 1 (3 hours) will enable participants to:
identify the key skills/qualities needed to manage lay employees.
describe their role and responsibilities in managing lay employees in the Methodist Church
clarify the different functions of line management
understand their role in managing the employment cycle
