Higher Education Chaplaincy Contacts
For new studentsLinking up with your chaplaincy puts you in touch with other students even before you arrive at university. All university chaplaincies have a website with information about student groups and there is usually a Facebook group or other online community.
For local churches and ministersIf you know of young people or anyone else from your from your church family who are going to university this autumn, please encourage them to be in touch with the chaplaincy. Chaplains are always keen to hear from new students before they arrive at University, so early contact is welcomed. Mobile phone numbers and email addresses are usually the best way to be in touch with students, but a term time address is also very useful. If you are passing on contact details on behalf of a new student please make certain that you have their permission to do so.
