Penny Fuller - Children, Youth & Family Team Coordinator
Penny has worked for the Methodist Connexional Team for 15 years. Her specialist experience is children’s spiritual and faith formation, the participation of children in the full life of the church and their discipleship journey.
She is also the Moderator of Children’s Ministry Network, an ecumenical body of churches and parachurch organisations involved in children’s and family ministry.
Penny volunteers in her local Methodist church and is a Girls' Brigade Leader.
Chris coordinates all aspects of the children's and young persons' assembly of the Methodist Church, known as 3Generate.
Chris attends St Andrew’s Church, Biggleswade where he is a voluntary Church Youth leader.
He is also Co-Leader of the Children’s Team at the Greenbelt Festival and a member of the UK international office for Hands at Work in Africa.
Gail's role is to explore ways to do ministry with families and in intergenerational contexts that further develops best practice in churches and communities. She nurtures approaches to ministry through the sharing of experience and learning. This includes offering support, resources and equipping for those involved. Gail works alongside Learning Network Officers, denominational partners, parachurch organisations and training colleges and providers. Gail is the course leader for the Family Ministry Certificate at Cliff College. She also coordinates the Children, Youth and Family social media presence and is part of the 3Generate development team, with a special focus on social media and communication.
Gail volunteers in her local church as part of the all-age worship team and is a Children’s Ministry Network representative on behalf of The Methodist Church. She is also author of The Essential Guide to Family Ministry, published by Bible Reading Fellowship, 2020.
Lynne leads on work that helps to inspire and equip children and young people to be activists, volunteers, campaigners, peace-makers and project-starters. This includes supporting children and young people in communities of practice (eg Green Agents of Change), working with the Social Justice Youth Reps, liaising with strategic partners such as JPIT, All We Can and Christian Aid and representing Children, Youth and Family on key Methodist steering groups (eg the COP26 Campaign).
She is one of two Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructors for the team and manages website content for the team and e-newsletters. Lynne is part of the 3Generate development team, with a special focus on resources and training for group leaders.
Lynne volunteers as a youth leader with her church, working with 11 – 18 year olds. She is also the current Chair of the Council of Reference for the Student Christian Movement and on the Exec of the National Estate Churches Network.
Meg develops and facilitates projects, events and programmes for young people and young adults, to enable them to grow in discipleship, participation and leadership. She supports, develops resources and delivers training for those who work with young people (both paid staff and volunteers). Meg oversees the Youth Reps programme and the Leadership Year, and she is involved in the development and delivery of the 3Generate event.
Meg is an Exec member for the European Methodist Youth and Children’s Council and also Methodist Church representative on the Religious Education Council of England and Wales. She works closely with the Centre for Chaplaincy in Education and is a Member of the Methodist Schools Ethos Committee.
