In this short series of videos the Revd Dr Calvin Samuel, Principal of London School of Theology, looks at Jesus then and now, and explores his relevance to us as Christians, and how we can pass on our enthusiasm for Jesus to those around us.

1: Who was Jesus?

In this first video, Calvin begins by exploring Jesus’ mission and ‘manifesto’, as expressed through his healings, teaching and nature miracles.

2: Who is Jesus?

In the second video, Calvin Samuel explores the continuing relevance of Jesus today, not just a historical character, but because of his resurrection, still alive and present to us, by his Spirit, today.

3: How do we know about Jesus?

The third video, Calvin asks why we have four gospels, all presenting different portraits of Jesus.  What can we learn about Jesus from the things they share in common, and the unique things they show us about Jesus.

4: How can we inspire people with the story of Jesus?

In the final video, Calvin asks how we can inspire people with the story of Jesus in our leading of worship, telling the story of Jesus in fresh and creative ways, with the confidence that the story of Jesus is world changing.
