Central Lakes Pilgrimage Project

The Central Lakes Pilgrimage Project is an ecumenical project in the Central Lakes, Cumbria. It includes a set of 10 walks connecting places of worship of different denominations, each with its own distinctive story to tell. The pilgrimage walks visit a number of churches and is an opportunity where you can pause and follow the meditations provided, or just have a rest and look around. It is an initiative which has been developed by the Central Lakes Mission Community, as well as other places of worship in the area. The Mission Community is a group of churches, including the Methodist Church, in the Central Lakes who have discovered the benefit and blessing of working and worshiping together. If you would like any further information on the initiative then please visit this page or speak to Deacon Maggie Patchett in the South Lakes Circuit.
