Climate Justice for All (CJ4A) - August 2021

Climate Justice for All (CJ4A) released the fifth in their series of monthly short films and worship resources this week!

CJ4A is a campaign which invites Methodist communities all over the world to engage in the issue of the climate crisis and declare ‘we believe in climate justice for all’. The campaign is being led by a team of young workers from Uruguay, Britain, Italy, Zambia and Fiji and a network of volunteers from fifteen other countries including Russia, India, Argentina, Zimbabwe and the USA.

The campaign is asking Methodist communities to do three things in the run up to COP26: listen, call and commit.

This month, the short film and worship resources focus on communities in India and their experience of the climate crisis.

“This month’s content is particularly exciting for us as a campaign. Being able to call upon our Indian volunteers and have them work together on a short film and set of worship resources that focus on communities in India is something we are proud of. Showcasing the talents of our volunteers helps to show the strength of the campaign which has always been our ability to share a global voice. We hope people find this month’s content both challenging and informative.” Mollie Pugmire, British CJ4A Worker.
