Empowering Design Practices is a five-year collaborative research project exploring how community-led design can help empower those who look after historic places of worship to create more open, vibrant and sustainable places that respect and enhance their heritage. The Outcome of the Open University research project (on involving communities in using places of worship) is an online course – free for the general public, with a fee payable if used for the purposes of professional development.
