Exploring Ordained Ministry Event – Saturday 2 March 2024

The Ministries Team are holding a morning on Zoom to help those who feel called, to explore their call to serve the Church as a Presbyter or Deacon.

Inhabiting Diaconal Ministry Event – Saturday 16 March 2024 

Have you been, or do you know someone who you think might be, called to being a Deacon, or will be candidating as a Presbyter and wanting to know more about the ministry of a Deacon?

There is also a morning on Zoom, Inhabiting Diaconal Ministry, exploring what is distinctive about being a Deacon in the Methodist Church.

The Explore Course – taster session on Thursday 11 April 2024 at 7pm 

Explore is an opportunity for any member of the Methodist Church in Britain to take a step back, and consider how they are called to respond to God's invitation to church leadership, whether that is lay or ordained. It is a nine-month course and, once registered, people also get a 1:1 Accompanist, support about theological reflection and signposts to a range of resources. The next opportunity to join this course is in May 2024, with a taster session on Thursday 11 April 2024, online 7-9pm.
