Historic Place of Worship

Lozells Methodist Church and Community Centre in the Birmingham District is a Grade II listed building who partner with local charities and service providers including Citizens UK to influence change in the community, focusing on Covid vaccination uptake, homelessness, affordable housing, hate crime, domestic abuse and places of sanctuary. One of the biggest problems in their community is health inequality due to food poverty/education along with increased domestic violence and loneliness. They are now working to develop a Food Club in the Centre that will open once a week offering a food box that costs £3.50 containing the equivalent of £15 worth of food.
