Holiness: Hidden Treasure

Registration is now open for Holiness: Hidden Treasure – an online retreat led by Ermal Kirby on 12-13 July, organised by The Community for Spiritual Formation.

• Through a programme of teaching, silence, worship and reflection based on a Benedictine monastic pattern The Community for Spiritual Formation creates transformative space for people to be in communion with God, self, others, and creation for the sake of the world.
• This ‘online overnighter’ retreat will begin with a Zoom session on Friday evening (7:30pm – 9pm) after which participants are invited to hold an overnight silence if possible and resumes online at 9am on Saturday. The morning includes an hour’s silence, away from screens, and finishes at 1pm.
• Ermal will explore the key ingredients of holiness; how they relate to the ideas and images found in Scripture; the aspects of holiness emphasised by John Wesley; and which of these insights might still have resonance in our day.
