Let’s End Poverty Founding Assembly

Saturday 14 October: 11am – 1pm

Online or in Manchester, Liverpool, London, Nottingham, Cambridge, Newcastle, Leeds, Cardiff and Glasgow

We know that poverty in the UK is an avoidable, solvable problem that can be fixed. That’s why we’re coming together to call for a future where poverty can’t keep anyone down.

The Methodist Church has been a founding partner in launching a new anti-poverty movement – Let’s End Poverty. We’re so excited to launching this work in a special event, hosted with partners across the UK, at our Founding Assembly.

You’re invited to join the Let’s End Poverty Founding Assembly on 14 October to build the movement towards ending poverty in the UK. Connect with others in a regional gathering or online to show that taking action to end poverty matters to our communities and we want our political leaders to make it their priority too.

Anyone and everyone is welcome – we want to include your gifts and skills as part of building this new movement. Whether you’re motivated to end poverty because of your own experience, because of your faith, work or volunteering, we need everyone to be part of making the change we want to see.
