Men’s Health Awareness Week – 13–19 June – Time for your MOT

This week is the annual Men’s Health Awareness Week, which runs from 13 to 19 June. Developed by Men’s Health forum this week aims to highlight health issues men face. This year’s theme is ‘Time for your MOT’. The focus over the last couple of years has greatly been on the pandemic, which may have meant other illness or conditions have not been high on anyone’s to do list. Now is the time to shift that focus.

If health issues are affecting you in the work environment, you can discuss your concerns with the wellbeing team. An occupational health review may be just what is needed, undertaken by our external occupational health provider Thrive. A review could highlight recommendations for improvement.
