Mental Health Awareness talk

We will be running a mental health awareness session on 6 October 2022 from 11am to 12noon led by the company Spill. The session is entitled 'Feelings 101: A tool kit for strong mental health’.

According to the data, many of us in today's Western world are becoming increasingly unhappy. This talk delves into reasons why, from the recent (opportunity cost, warped priorities) to the ancient (how our brains have evolved for survival rather than wellbeing). It then outlines concepts and practical tools from the fields of life coaching, CBT and psychotherapy that you can use to take your mental wellbeing into your own hands.

This session will run for 1 hour made up of 45-minute talk and then 15 minutes questions.

To register your interest in attending please email wellbeing@methodistchurch.org.uk. Zoom details will be sent to you nearer to the time.
