Methodist Church webmail account - update
Dear Minister
All ministers with a Methodist Church Webmail account should have been received an email regarding the upcoming changes to the email platform provider. If the email was not received, the details can be found here. In preparation for the migration, each minister will receive an email from noreply@methodistchurch.org.uk with instructions on how to set up a password for the new Microsoft 365 (M365) mailbox. Once you have a created the new password for M365, your new email account will be ready.
Please note that from 6pm on Sunday, 27 October until 6am, Monday, 28 October, there will be NO ACCESS TO ANY EMAIL due to preparations being made for the migration.
Up until 6pm on Sunday, 27 October 2024, you can access your email via the Fluent email system, using the old password. The new password will only work for M365 from Monday, 28 October 2024. On this day, you will have access to new emails coming into your inbox but the historic data from the Fluent email system will gradually be populated over the next few days. Access to historic data will vary from mailbox to mailbox due to the size of each mailbox and the time needed to migrate the data across. The migration process will be carried out in alphabetical order and an email confirmation will be sent once it is complete.
The new Microsoft 365 email system can be accessed via a web browser or viewed on the Outlook App using a smartphone or tablet by downloading the Outlook App from the Android or Apple stores for free. Click the Google Play Store or Apple App Store image below to download the app onto a smartphone or device.
