Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month – March

Ovarian Cancer awareness month is marked in March. Every year, 295,000 women around the world are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In the UK ovarian cancer is the UK’s deadliest gynaecological disease. With every person diagnosed there are family and friends that are also affected by this diagnosis. Awareness still needs to be raised about this disease to help detection and continued research. Knowing the signs and seeking help is also key in fighting this disease.
