Platinum Jubilee

This year to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee the Methodist Church is partnering with Hope UK to resource churches who are planning community events around the extended bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June.

Could you pray and encourage those in your churches to get involved, exploring ecumenical and community relationships as you plan?

The weekend coincides with Pentecost and Thy Kingdom Come so there are opportunities to think creatively about additional events or invitations which will offer spaces for communities to worship and pray together too.
