Politics in the Pulpit is JPIT’s (controversially named!) lectionary-based preaching resource

In weekly episodes, we ask how reclaiming the justice issues present in the biblical texts helps us to be good news in the world today. Each week, we host a different guest, discussing to discern the political dimensions present in the Scriptures and reflecting on how they connect with the week’s current news and our role in the Kingdom of God.

We particularly want to help those who preach and lead worship to engage well with the political realities of biblical texts and their relation to current events. Whether you follow the lectionary or not, our discussions can help you to discuss politics from the pulpit with confidence and sensitivity.
