Prayer Day

Is prayer a life-giving way you connect with the God who is love? Or does it sometimes feel like an impossible task full of contradictions? Join others from across the Methodist connexion as we embrace our experiences of prayer, feel liberated and be reassured that there is good news in the mystery. We're also delighted to welcome Brian Heasley from 24-7 Prayer to join us. This event is intended for anyone who might be involved in encouraging prayer in a church. It will include teaching, discussion, reflection, quiet, and time to pray together. It's free, and includes lunch and refreshments. It is organised by Abi Jarvis & Andy Fishburne, Discipleship and Faith Formation Officers in the Evangelism & Growth team and Rosie Bryant from the Learning Network, in partnership with local churches.
