Reminder - email accounts
Dear minister
This is a reminder notice about the upcoming changes to the email system. On Monday, 28 October 2024, we will be migrating your email mailbox to Microsoft 365 (M365). In preparation for the migration, you will need to set up a password for M365. Please note that your username (which is your email address) will remain unchanged. If you have been unable to do this, please contact our partners, AspiraCloud, for further assistance.
If you are unable to access the new system before Monday, please don’t worry. Your data will still be moved to the platform.
In preparation for the migration, please note that from 6pm on Sunday, 27 October until 6am, Monday, 28 October, there will be NO ACCESS TO ANY EMAIL.
Up until 6pm on Sunday, 27 October 2024, you can access your email via the Fluent email system, using the old password. The new password will only work for M365 from Monday, 28 October 2024. On this day, you will have access to new emails coming into your inbox but the historic data from the Fluent email system (any email before 6pm Sunday) will gradually be populated over the next few days. Access to historic data will vary from mailbox to mailbox due to the size of each mailbox and the time needed to migrate the data across. The migration process will be carried out in alphabetical order and an email confirmation will be sent once it is complete.
The new Microsoft 365 email system can be accessed via a web browser or viewed on the Outlook App using a smartphone or tablet by downloading the Outlook App from the Android or Apple stores for free. Click the Google Play Store or Apple App Store image below to download the app onto a smartphone or device.
