Royal Army Chaplains' Department Theological Student and Potential Chaplains Course 2024

This is an annual residential course offered by the Royal Army Chaplains’ Department to theological students and those recently ordained to raise awareness of the unique opportunities and challenges of Army chaplaincy.

The 2024 course will take place from Monday 16 September to Friday 20 September 2024 at the Armed Forces’ Chaplaincy Centre, Shrivenham, followed by an optional placement week with an Army chaplain the following week (23 – 27 September 2024). The course comprises a mixture of lectures, visits, and interaction with serving chaplains and soldiers. There is plenty of time for discussion with chaplains and for conversation with those from diverse theological traditions. Air or rail fares (within UK), food and accommodation are provided.
