The Living Wage

The Living Wage Foundation has published the living wage rates for 2023/24 Living Wage Foundation. The rates are £13.15 per hour in London and £12.00 per hour in all other UK regions. Different rates are published in some of the non-UK jurisdictions. All employing bodies in the Church must implement the new rates by no later than 1 April 2024. However, last year in the light of the cost of living crisis, the Methodist Council urged all bodies to implement the new rate by 1 December.
