Understanding and working with burnout - 15 March 2023

The wellbeing team are promoting an Understanding and working with burnout webinar on Wednesday 15 March 2023 at 10am to 1pm online. This webinar has a limited number of 18 spaces, so if you are interested in attending please send an email to wellbeing@methodistchurch.org.uk

Workshop lead: 

Linda Hafez, MBACP (Accred) is therapist based in London with extended qualifications in children and adolescence, CBT, special educational needs, systemic family practice and supervision. 

Selina Jane Brown Therapist based in London and has extended qualifications in Trauma.

Both therapist have trained adults on CPCAB counselling qualification course. 

What is Burnout 

Job burnout is a special type of work-related stress — a state of physical or emotional exhaustion that also involves a sense of reduced accomplishment and loss of personal identity.

Outline of the workshop:  

Aims:  

  • Identify the signs of burnout in ourselves and others  
  • Understanding prolonged stress and anxiety on the body and mind
  • Identifying individuals support systems and boundaries to prevent burnout
  • Tools and coping strategies to help burnout
