World Week for Peace in Palestine and Israel – September 16-22 2024

The WCC have produced the following free resources. There is information and a prayer for each day of the week, the themes include Human loss, Injured and disabled, The displaced, Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners detained by Israel, Women and children under fire, The international community and Gaza reconstruction: needs, challenges, and future path. This is a real opportunity to join people globally in praying for peace in the Holy Land.

My Church of Scotland colleagues Rev Dr Stewart Gillan and Revd Muriel Pearson have responded to the material produced by writing a liturgy based on the themes identified. The material is also free and can be accessed here.
