Worship: Leading & Preaching Explore Weekends

Hence this new venture: Explore Weekends offer the opportunity to do the three Explore sessions for one module over a Saturday & Sunday away. We plan to provide four events during 2025, each event hosted by a different circuit or district. Some students may be able to attend them all, and we encourage circuits and districts to support them with the cost. Others may come to one or two, which should be a valuable experience, supplementing the time spent with their circuit tutor. Some students may combine them with the quarterly Explore Online sessions on Zoom if this suits your study programme.

There is no cost for attending each event, but students need to organise their own travel and accommodation – venues have been chosen for their easy public transport links and affordable hotel accommodation. Our very first event will be on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February 2025, hosted by the Colchester Circuit in Essex. We will be offering Explore sessions for Modules 1 and 5 on this first weekend, but students can only do one module per weekend. The Explore sessions will be on Saturday morning and afternoon, and on Sunday afternoon. We'll join in worship with the local church on the Sunday morning.

Alongside the Explore sessions for students, there will be a programme of continuing learning for all Local Preachers and Worship Leaders on Saturday.
