You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. (Psalm 91:1-2)

For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you. (v. 2)

Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? (v. 6)

..for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples. (v. 7b)

Ho, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (v. 1)

He was in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels waited on him. (v. 13).

Suddenly they saw two men, Moses and Elijah, talking to him. They appeared in glory and were speaking of his departure, which he was about to accomplish in Jerusalem. (vs 30-31)

'Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.' (vs 31-32)

All of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit. (v. 18)

'Whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.' (v. 6)

First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came from human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. (vs 20-21)

Now the appearance of the glory of the LORD was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel. (v. 17)
