'When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you.' (v. 2)

in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptised by John in the Jordan. And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens torn apart and the Spirit descending like a dove on him. (vs 9-10)

On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage. (v. 11)

He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death. (v. 8)

And we have seen his glory. (v. 14)
