And the Lord changed his mind (v. 14)

Moses entered the cloud, and went up on the mountain. (v. 18)

'I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery you shall have no other gods before me.' (vs 2-3)

But Jesus answered, ‘You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?’ (v. 22)

When he looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, 'Where are we to buy bread for these people to eat?' He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he was going to do. (vs 5-6)

'You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. Now therefore, if you obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession out of all the peoples. Indeed, the whole earth is mine, but you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation.' (vs 4-6)

'If you do this, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all these people will go to their home in peace.’ (v. 23)

The twelve were with him, as well as some women… (vs 1b-2a)

‘I will be standing there in front of you on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it, so that the people may drink.’ Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel (v6).

So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, ‘In the evening you shall know that it was the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your complaining against the Lord. For what are we, that you complain against us?' (vs. 6-7)

In your steadfast love you led the people whom you redeemed; you guided them by your strength to your holy abode. (v. 13)
