‘Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit’. (v. 24)

Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it. (v. 14a)

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, in order to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as children. (vs 4-5)

But immediately Jesus spoke to them and said, 'Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.' (v. 27)

When the great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there, they came not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. (v. 9)

Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him. But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what he had done. (vs 45-46)

When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out… (vs 43-44)

Jesus began to weep. So the Jews said, ‘See how he loved him!’ (vs 35-36)

When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. (v. 17)

While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were terrified as they entered the cloud. Then from the cloud came a voice that said, ‘This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!’ (vs 34-35)

Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. (v. 19)

Accordingly, though Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus, after having heard that Lazarus was ill, he stayed two days longer in the place where he was. (vs 5-6)
