In our prayers for you we always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints, because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. (vs 3-5)

And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. (v. 47)

He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. (v. 3)

And he was called Jesus... (v. 21)

And being found in human form, he humbled himself. (vs 7-8)

God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” (v. 6)

They shall be called, “The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord”. (v. 12)

For the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. (v. 11)

When Herod saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, he was infuriated, and he sent and killed all the children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under. (v. 16)

After this he [Jesus] said to him, “Follow me.” (v. 19b)

While they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he died. (vs 59-60)

And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn. (v. 7)
