'Let anyone with ears listen!' (v. 43b)

Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, (v. 2)

Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. (v. 6)

Nicodemus, who had gone to Jesus before, and who was one of them… (v. 50)

‘… no one laid hands on him, because his hour had not yet come.’ (v. 30)

‘Anyone who resolves to do the will of God will know whether the teaching is from God…’ (v. 17)

Now the Jewish festival of Booths was near. (v. 2)

‘Hear then the parable of the sower.’ (v. 18)

Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him. So Jesus asked the twelve, 'Do you also wish to go away?' (vs 66-67)

'I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.' (v. 51)

Jesus answered them, ‘Do not complain among yourselves. No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me; and I will raise that person up on the last day.' (vs 43-44)

‘Very truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.’ (vs 32-33)
