As we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the message of the gospel, even so we speak...to please God. (v. 4)

And how you turned to God from idols, to serve a living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven. (vs 9-10)

] constantly remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labour of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.' (v. 3)

Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in the clouds’ with great power and glory.(v. 26)

'I saw one like a human being coming with the clouds of heaven. And he came to the Ancient One and was presented before him. To him was given dominion and glory and kingship, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him.' (vs 13-14)

'Now, O king, establish the interdict and sign the document, so that it cannot be changed, according to the law of the Medes and the Persians, which cannot be revoked.’ (v. 8)

One of the two who heard John speak and followed him was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his brother Simon and said to him, ‘We have found the Messiah’. (vs 40-41)

'But the God in whose power is your very breath, and to whom belong all your ways, you have not honoured.' (v. 23b)

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall this kingdom be left to another people. (v. 44)

They were to be educated for three years, so that at the end of that time they could be stationed in the king’s court. Among them were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, from the tribe of Judah. (vs 5-6)

And the king will answer them, 'Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.' (v. 40)
